Cocoa App prides itself on security, privacy, and honesty with our customers and end users. We believe that you have a right to know what information we collect in our products and how that information is used. This document outlines that information. Cocoa App collects limited analytics data on both CocoaApp.com and in our iOS and Mac products. This generic analytics information does not contain any user-specific information, and is only used for product research purposes when adding new features and gauging user response to features. We also collect crash information from our product to help ensure a better user experience.
Vitals is a blood pressure monitoring app available for both iPhone and Apple Watch. This application integrates with Apple's HealthKit to read and store information related to your blood pressure readings and heart rate readings. Vitals does not store or in any way transmit health data collected through the app to any offsite location. All information entered through Vitals is stored locally on your device and is kept secured using HealthKit.
Should you choose to share your blood pressure readings through the app using the sharing functionality, your HealthKit data will be read into Vitals and generated as a PDF only when you request your data to be shared. It can then be shared further at your sole discretion as a PDF. After sharing the PDF, the copy that Vitals generated for sharing will be erased from the device.
Cocoa App does not share, transmit, or allow any third party to access data collected or transmitted through our website or apps. No third parties ever have access to our analytics data.
